    Default Mannford Burning

I am asking for everyone to pray for the people in Mannford. The fires have taken the whole area. I grew up in Mannford and my family still lives there. I have old classmates and their parents who have lost their homes due to the fires there. I had to go up and get my 80 yr parents moved out. It is not a pretty sight up there.

The United Methodist Church at 4th & Main in Sand Springs is taking donations of food and clothing for those who have been impacted by the fires. Drop stuff of anytime from 8 AM to 10 PM--anything at all can be used. Some people have lost everything except what they were wearing at the time they had to evacuate.

The family is all well no structures lost for any of them. Been a long night. Here are a few photos that I took before I had to leave.

The first 4 or 5 photos are houses that were burnt to the ground as was the case for most structures that did catch fire.
