    Default Ego reach crappie net

After losing 3 good fish during the Eufaula Tourney from not being able to get them in a short handled net I have bit the bullet and ordered a net for trotlining crappie...any comments...Ranger

    Trotlining crappie ... ha!

I have an Ego Reach. Nice net. Works great for crappie, but don't expect to net a 26 lb flathead with it.

My EGO net is 8' 6". But honestly, since I started using Huckabee Xtralite rods, I hardly ever touch mine. These rods have some serious backbone and enough oomph to bury the hook in the roof of their mouth and lift 'em straight into the boat all in one motion.
