Back fom bowhunting in Kansas...

And I tagged out on a beast! I was hunting on 400 acres near Medicine Lodge and had some trail camera pictures of this 8 point. I knew he was big but he was bigger than I thought. He ended up scoring just a hair under 150.

I hunted last Saturday and Sunday, came home for Halloween, and headed back out to hunt for the rest of the week if needed. I hadn't seen anything great but knew it was just a matter of time. On Thursday evening I had 10 does come in for a bit and leave. About 20 minutes before dark I was texting a friend and when I looked up he was standing right in front of me. I drew back and double lunged him. He went 30 yards and it was over. It was a great tiem with some good friends and family. Here are some pictures from the trip. Nice Buck Robert. I am home for today and Tuesday due to the rain. Headed back up Wednesday. Looks like you left some good ones up there for next year. Nice trail cam pics. Congrats!!
