Thanks 4 sharing. i like mixing my fishing up2. i havnt seen much shad, it's been so scattered here. sounds like u found some, but where they? (deepth,ect.) or did u use somthing else. perhaps a secret formula(haha).

Im in the middle part of the lake and sure would like so advise on making a run like ur.

They were running in about 16' depth, 5' off the bottom. We used cut shad and had a real hard time getting them. Try the farthest ends of coves for the shad.

Well, my son talked me into going out the weekend of the 4th of July and trying our luck in our secret spot on the Verdigris river. WOW!!! The absolute biggest blues I have ever seen! We caught two that were around 70 pounds! Had our 150 pound test dropline snapped, and also had a 2/0 stainless steel hook straightened out! If someone is wanting to catch some big blues, the Verdigris river is holding some good ones right now!!!
