No good news on the Oologah bite from me. Fished this weekend and couldn't find one brush pile with crappie on it. Fished from Talalla creek, to Blue creek and I'd go over the piles and I would be lucky to see 1 fish on the sonar. Fished the piles just to verify the sonar wasn't lying and couldn't even get a nibble. Strange season this year, haven't found more than 15 keeper crappie a day for months now. We caught 36 sandbass, 1 good crappie and 1 good catfish today, quite a few throwbacks too. Maybe its been the high water for months and the post spawn could be some of the problem too. I just keep hoping they'll shut the water off and the lake will stabilize. This time of year is usually really good fishin. I know they will eventually get back to their normal patterns, I just wished I knew when. All we can do is keep trying, Lord knows we've been patient enough.
