Who needs rod holders when ya can hold two rods in each hand? I bet those one rod, one bait tournies are almost boring for you.

Read it again. I think he means one in each hand on each side of the boat. (i would need a skinnier boat!)

Ranger could probably do 3 rods in each hand if he really wanted to!

Guys if you don't have a GPS for speed on your unit, just watch your line. 45 degree angle is the speed right now. EB

Hit Eufaula yesterday, store was out of minnows and there was one boat trailer in the lot (both bad signs). I really had to look to find willing fish. There were crappie at different depths, the most active were at 11-13 FOW deep right on the bottom. I think those fish were after the shad, that was the lowest depth of the schools I could see on the finder. Lots of shad this year in the Crowder area. I fished old 69, the rip, rock creek all the way over to both sides of Crowder bridge. If I found brush at 11-13 FOW half the time it held a few fish willing to bite. After the storms blew over, I found some small ones had moved to 6 FOW. Caught maybe 25 from 12 to 8 pm. Only one really good one, most were 8-10 inches. Best jigs black/pink and black/chart wooly bees. If anybody cares to tell me were the majority of the bigger fish go on Eufaula after the spawn, I would love to hear it. PM me if necessary LOL.

Main lake banks and points Fishers. I haven't been for over a week now due to a mini vacation before my wife heads back to the classroom. If you have woodpiles in that depth of water on the main lake it helps in filling your LW too. EB has been catching some fish from wood and we both were also pulling jigs rod in hand in the DOW you mentioned but you have to cover lots of water to find like you said willing biters. Will be hitting the water no later thanThursday getting ready for several trips coming up. Not saying you can't catch some fish in the creeks but for my time and money this time of year it's main lake with the lake being above normal.......Ranger
