Is this the same thing they call longlining? Or are you just drifting and allowing the jigs to bounce along?

Don we are pulling at a speed of 1.10 to 1.50 MPH with enough line let out to bounce the bottom some of the time. We call it pulling cause that's exactly what you are doing..... Ranger

Fished today with 2 very good friends, Doug and Brian. With 3 very knowledgeable crappie fishermen, today was fishing at best. We tried to put a pattern together all day and it wasn't happening. We caught 19 good fish with several shorts mixed in. We tried pulling on several banks but they weren't having any of that today. The only pattern we could get bit on was dipping buck bushes in 4' to 6' DOW. Isolated bushes were the best producer today. WT was 81 degrees today. We put in a lot of miles today and left scratching our heads with touch of a headache trying to figure out the world of crappie fishing. Wish I had a better report but some days are like that. At least I shared it with good friends...... Ranger

Was able to fish yesterday and today! Two different days as far as weather goes. Yesterday we gas 35 mpg wind gust today barely a ripple. Post spawn patterns going into a summer pattern over night! We caught 41 yesterday and 25 today. Water temps ranged from 77-90 degrees! We caught them using multiple techniques double dippin rip rap around bridges, pulling jigs down natural bank, and dippin bushes and standing timber! Fishe were in 6-12 ft fishing 4-6 ft deep. Blk and pink was really good in the murkier water where pump chart took the cake in clearer water. So now after today I'm burnt up! It was smoking hot out there with no wind EB

Fished with EB yesterday and as he said Hot. Hot, Hot, very tuff day with no wind. EB got so hot trying to learn and old dog new tricks he finally had to jump in the lake to cool off. Had a good time and learned some new ways of doing things and a lot of good tips on how to catch fish on Eufaula.
    Thanks again EB.

I was able to take Gaston Hall today (CrappieWhiperer's Dad) today. We had 52 from 9:00-3:00 fishing standing timber! The fish seem to be moving to the wood for the summer! Water temp was 85-88 degrees. Most of them are suspended shallow over deeper water. This time of year if the wood is in the right depth your going to get bit! EB
