Well I havent got to do much fishing lately my dad had bypass surgery and been stickin close just in case ,,but today my sister showed up to keep an eye on him so I snuck off bout 3:00 got on the water bout 4:00 and fished till dark
Fished around arrowhead and bristow point area. WT was 68-70
Fished cork &jig 1 ft or less and caught the tar out of em but only ended up with 28 keepers and had probably 60 throwbacks. Lots of little fish this year. Did try out deeper 2 poling but all I would catch was short fish .....

    Good luck and good fishin

BOWMAN you have to be alittle CRAZY to take kids fishing that do not belong to you. I am talking city pavement kids that never get out of the smog. I have come to believe that's the problem, their brains have been damaged from all the bad air....lol.....country boy at heart and u no it....they can't take instruction or will listen even if you catch fish in front of them and explain what you are doing to create that strike. They like to throw chocolate candy on your carpet then mash it in, throw tator chips ( u no the kind with all the good seasoning) all over, play with your phone when your back is turned and eventually give it a bath, step on your seats and use em for a trampoline even after a scoulding for doin it....Yeah I Am Crazy For Doin What I Do...lol...But if the truth was known I am Living A Dream....Ranger

Sounds like the kids NEED a real drink, maybe 10 minutes down. The parents are next for 20

Now That's Funny I Don't Care Who You Are......I try to be a multi tasking Guide, but failed terribly in my last endevor. Could of always been worse I guess they could of sunk my boat. Its hard to fish when you keep hearing the the splashes thinking a youngster has gone over board, but to realize they have their feet in the water splashing eachother by kicking water. Now that does wonders for fishing shallow water crappie. Certainly made for a very long cast down the bank. lol ....So Hat when you get in my boat I will have candy bars, tator chips, soft drinks, and a towel to dry you off..you just can't be playing with my phone even if it looks like your dad's and NO GRAB ASSIN ALLOWED....Ranger

To ranger and eb, and any other guides as well, you guys have what most of us would call the dream job. But in reality, it's probably one of the toughest jobs around. Not only do you have to find fish day in and day out, but you also have to deal with all walks of people. My hat goes of to you guys!!! I have a hard time finding and catching fish during prime time and weather conditions, yet y'all have to do it all the time and in all types of weather. Keep up the good work, you guys are a special breed of fishermen.
