I didn't catch much but had a blast. What I did catch sure felt good to feel the thump. Been at least a month since I have been out on the water.
That's to long to have not felt the thump !
I have given up fishing at the dock for the rest of the summer -- water is just too hot for the crappie. So for now, just enjoying a raft by the dock or hanging out in the water at Sissy Beach. If anyone is out on the water on the weekends and needs a cold beverage, stop by. Our dock is the 2-slip dock just to the south of the boat ramp in Arrowhead Estates in Rock Creek Cove. You'll see Kim and I out in the water with our floating ice chest.
Met up with the Discover Oklahoma Film Team yesterday in Eufaula. After discussing areas of the lake we decided to head just North of the town since time was short with other arrangements that needed to be for filled as well. So after a short interview we hit the water around 10 and shortly after caught our first crappie. We ended up only on the water for about 11/2 hours but had a blast. We caught several fish to go along with their upcoming broadcast and celebration of the closing of the gates on Eufaula Dam 50yrs a go on the 25th of September.........Ranger
When is it going to air Ranger?
2 or 3 weeks Kirk channel 8 Tulsa on a Saturday evening at 6:30pm is all I know. When it gets closer I will be notified....Ranger

If anyone sees this go to u tube please let me know so I can join in making fun of Rangers rock star self. I hate to miss this and once it airs channel 8 may get so many frightened children complaints that it will never show again. /-; and if it goes viral I want to be able to say that I knew Mark before he had to wear big sunglasses just to go to the grocery!
