where are they running their spider rigs?
I was able to get and fish a few hours after church on Sunday. We caught 20-25 keepers from 2:30-6:00. There was a little current in the creek so we came back out to the mouth got on some rip-rap and caught a few 10' inch fish. I hate current in the creek. The bite was a little finicky, we missed a bunch. Suprisingly we were spider-rigging minnows in 6-10 ft of water fishing 3-5ft deep. I guess with the low visibility, and stained water color the fish were that shallow. We were still catching fish at dark until the light rain run us off! Good Fishing EB
Thanks, EB. What kind of water temps did you find? I'm sure the temps were a little warmer in the creek than out on the rip-rap. We had 46 on the lake side and 51 back in the creek about 3 weeks ago. I hope to get back down to Eufaula next Wednesday. I'll post the report if I do. Good fishing!!

The water temps were 39-41 degrees.
hey eb....anything on I 40 yet?
IDK, I haven't been back out there yet. But you can bet the first warming trend we will start seeing reports. The water color doesn't look to bad though. I coach at checotah so i see it from time to time. When I know or hear something I will put it on an I-40 thread. EB
Does anyone know of a dry covered boat storage available in the Eufaula or Longtown area for rent? A phone number sure would be helpful. Thanks
Minnowtime, the marina in downtown Eufaula is called Eufaula Cove Marina. They have hundreds of covered boat slips. You may want to give them a call.
