I am not yet 60 and have not lost any desires either. Most people I know are still working. I guess I would be too if not for the back surgery. I figure I can sit on the chair in the boat just as well as I can sit on the chair in the living room :)

106 on both the thermometers outside my house the last 3 days in a row.

I'm on about the same fishing pattern but definitely to hot to clean fish. Just releasing everything.
I fished last Sunday 6-6. It wasn't quite as hot as it is right now, but the wind was much lighter. One cannot catch if they sittin on their rear under the AC. I wouldn't have stayed out that long if it wasn't for me trusty umbrella.
I didn't last 6:00 am to 6:00 pm but I made 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Kept 19.
