I think your buddy was right Wrangler!
I went back yesterday and today and had the same results. Not pictures because I dropped my cell phone in the live well. My guest took pics and may send me some when I get another cell phone
Sorry about the phone. I've dropped mine into shallow water twice, and the phone survived. The second time, it didn't revive until 2 days later. I was very happily surprised, since those things are costly.
I had just did an insurance replacement of a 2 year old phone earlier this month so the coverage is not in effect for 6 months. The replacements are usually refurbished units that do not have the battery properly sealed so they are much more prone to water damage than a new one. I had dropped my previous phone in a life lock case a dozen times in the water over the past two years with no damage. The refurbished phone was also in a life lock case. The cost of the refurbished they are sending me is $500.00. That's a lot of fishing money and I am already dealing with AT&T over their trying to get my disability cancelled so they don't have to pay for benefits for me. I am obviously struggling with being irritated. I am unemployable so if they cancel my disability that will leave me in a pickle.
Went Monday after the cold front. Fish were pushed off into deeper water but with effort were catchable. The weather change has greatly effected my arthritis. I am going to have to take a few days off.
I managed to go out for a while yesterday. Trying to get more exercise so I walked the bank instead of taking one of the boats. I put 24 in the basket out of a total around 65
