What Structure and Bait Sonny Boy?
Christmas tree jig and around stumps and lay downs nothing at all on brush piles water 77 degrees.
Caught 15 yesterday in Glasses Arm. Only 3 keepers but, they were nice hogs. Nice to find them on brushpiles in 20' of water with jigs on the bottom. Water temp was 82 by noon. And this was the day after the full moon. It's only going to get better as the water temp drops down to low 70's or less.
Nice job OB, you retired guys are killin me!!!!!
Fished Newberry Creek yesterday morning. Had 6 real nice keepers and lost track of the dinks. Water is still around 80 but, the bite is improving. Heading out again in a few minutes.
We fished Kansas Creek this morning. Had three keepers within first 15 minutes then a couple of dinks and then it started raining lightly and the bite stopped! Fought the rain another hour and finally gave up and quit. Water temp is still 77 but, should drop with the rain and cooler weather predicted over the next few days.
Sounds like it's about to finally bust loose for you border boys- good luck Bob! You have suffered long enuf surely!
