Why can't that happen during duck season?

Is there another public boat ramp on the lower side of the dam since the dam boat ramp is closed indefinetly.

The boat ramp is closed permanently and there is no other ramp. You can drag a canoe or kayak down the sand to the south of the old ramp.

The COE caused the boat ramp to become unusable. It was usable for 30 years or so, and then they decided to make another cut in the bedrock past the stilling basin on the east side.

The cut points directly at the boat ramp. They piled some rip rap on the north side of it, but the sand washed out on the end.

A simpleton in the concrete business could fix it, but the COE won't.

I saw 6 air boats come from down river Sunday, there must be somewhere they're putting in.

There are three private ramps for airboats down the river. No public access.

That sucks

The main ramp at Pioneer should be usable by Monday or Tuesday if they continue to drop the lake at 12000 cfm's. Several are using the old ramp at Pioneer now.
