I fished Kaw Saturday. Water temp was 60. water clarity was 10" around washunga. I went up the river, there was a definite mud line just west of sarge bridge. water looked good below sarge. Fish are all over the graph! Bait is everywhere! Picked up a few bouncing along the rip rap and in brush. Once again, caught lots of 5" fish. The wind blew around 100 mph in my face everywhere I went. Seemed like it swirled to just fit my needs every time!! I could not go anywhere to get away from it. Color of choice was pump/chart big slab slayer. I have not been very good at finding quality fish in the last 2 weeks! Looks like Fishers is going to have to put another clinic!!

Hey Ledge, your description fits perfectly with what was happening to me on Saturday, different lake but, I had the wind blowing from the N, W, and East? How the heck is that possible!!! I would like to know where those big fish go also! Guess I'll see if I can get a guide trip with Fishers!

Went out on Kaw the 11-22 and caught 7 in bout 14 ft of water, water temp was in upper 50's. Cold front was coming in and blew me off the lake, sure good to catch a few though.

Hey Cricket is there any place to stay close to the lake, cabins, rooms trailers for rent anything. All I have seen have been in Ponca City.

I will have to ask Dennis Hoddy, I do not think so. We always stay in Ponca City.
