I was hoping that was your goal Redge, looks like your not getting many volunteers.
Heard they were catching a few males around the dock at caney they are starting to turn black
been doing descent at caney most days. But out of 30 I caught Sunday 3 were keepers. Worse thing about caney is the dang otters been destroying stringers.
Introduce the otters to Remington or Ruger
The ruger 10/22 is ready. If I don't make it out there in the morning I will sat an sunday. Hungry for more fried crappie. Sandbass are running though so if crappie ain't biting I'll walk the bank down from horseshoe bend and try my luck.
Minnows were king yesterday on tenkiller. Had some nice slabs in the basket. Don't know how to put a photo off my phone on here though.
Well decided to hit the lake yesterday afternoon for a couple hours. Fished mid-lake over some new piles I had put out back in Feburary. Nothing to report at all. Only thing caught was 1 sandbass. Never had a bite besides that.
Is this going to be a late year or one of those years that the bite is going to be off on all lakes? Seems as if I have certainly lost my touch on catching anything in my normal areas and patterns.
CC wish I had that answer for you brother. I haven't been on my home lake Tenkiller since late February and swore off it till I hear some good reports. I can say in past years it starts up on the upper end and migrates down the lake as far as bite goes. There are so many really great fisherman and I am talking Guides included that are struggling this year as well. With the recent rains and fronts it certainly has out a hamper on so many. Reason it's called fishing instead of catching I guess. Luck My Friend.......Ranger
Rains every Spring. Fish always biting somewhere.
