Just wonderin, what kind of water temps are y'all findin on T-Bird ?
The USGS Lake Hefner site says 38* , and their Draper site says *40 , man ..... those are really low winter temps. From best of my memory, these are lower than we've seen in a while.

Was out at tbird most of this week at one time or another, mainly afternoon until dark. Personally I was working on my boat a good portion of the time but I did see and talk to several that were catching a lot of crappie around the marina with the majority coming in the bottom 5 ft. I did notice that the best bite was on the windier days too.
Anyone been out now that the weathers a bit better? Can't remember the last time I had to go to page 3 to find the Tbird thread! We all need to fish more!! :)
Soon. A month behind my projected boat completion. This 1 1/2 years off from fishing has almost killed me. Only fished one time in that time span.
I'm heading that way shortly. Just got off work. Gonna change clothes and grab a sandwich then I'm gone! :cheers2

Alot of crappie being caught around the marina the last few days according to some of the guys I talked to today. I didnt get out there until about 430 and caught 16 in between talking and messing with the boat. I left at 645 to come home. I'm going back out tomorrow even with the wind they are predicting to replace a couple of plugs on the boat and see what I can catch.
I have not been out in whats seems like forever! Just too windy in the yak. I do more paddling to stay in spot than fishing. Off work today and been thinking bout trying to venture off somewhere to feel a thump, been itchin to do some fishn. Boat49 did the 16 you caught have pretty good size to them?
Just finished cleaning 8 that were all 10'' and over. Including yesterday and this morning, I threw back 15-20 that alot of people keep. I only caught 1 that I would call a true dink but he was a fighter! If this wind will lay a little I'm thinking about heading back out late this afternoon.
