I'm getting ready to head that way now. Gonna plug in the charger and get the boat ready for tomorrow. Have a buddy who's retiring today and wants to spend his first day of retirement fishing so who am I to tell him no!! If you see a Baycharger running around the lake stop by and we can compare notes! b49
I hope you do well because it is tough on Eufaula...catch a few on piles then move to another

Not much action on tbird either. I saw 3 tubing and they weren't having much luck, a few dinks here and there. Same on the docks. Going to try some spots around the lake and see what happens today.
How did you do boat49? I'm planning to head out tomorrow afternoon.
Fished from about 11am until 730, caught 2 sand bass and about 15 crappie. 4 were 10-11 the rest dinks. Majority caught at the marina and 1 cove on the north side of what I call the Little River arm with the fishing buoy. Fished to usually good spots and got nothing. BUT perfect weather for a day on the lake. More boat/wave runner traffic than I expected also. I talked to several people at the marina that had taken boats out an none admitted to any success. Good luck tomorrow, I'll be at my grandsons baseball tournament otherwise I would probably head back out to the lake.
Caught a few slabs yesterday afternoon and evening on yellow jigs with black/white swimbaits. Females had eggs.Couldn't tell you much about the depth, structure or cover because I was in a canoe with no tech, but if I were to ballpark the depth I'd say around 12 feet. Also hooked into a big saugeye on live silversides. Overall though, still slow.
Glad im not the only one who cant find them. it was so slow on Friday. boated maybe 15 with only 2 keepers which I threw back. the crappie on tbird are very frustrating right now. might have to switch to catfishing if things dont improve with the crappie
Went out Sunday and Monday evening. Had to weed through lots of little fish to get just a few keepers 10"-12". Also caught lots of under sized Saugeye and one nice one last night that was just under 5lbs. Water temp was 67-69. Fishing main lake points in 4-8 FOW. Girls still have eggs. Caught one 6" long full of eggs. I'm no crappie master but have fished the lake for a while. Are the crappie getting smaller on average? Seems like it was about to get good and here comes more rain. I guess I shouldn't complain but that's what fisherman do, right?

They don't seem as big now a days as they did in the past.
