Yeah, there's a map some where--Slab Camp is actually Slab Run, Barnes is Barnes run, etc. Some places just have made up names though. Try the DNR site.

I am pretty familiar with east fork, normally fish there a couple of times a year in the spring. The only question I have is if there is a map with the creek names you guys use or are they just what you guys call them. I know Yates and Speckwick fish there all the time, I just can't relate names with a place. Any help?

I don't have any map except what you can get at the local bait stores for free and they don't have names of the creeks. Not sure if the maps in the Navionics map cards would have names or not either, or where you can get a good paper map with the names. I'll look around and see. You can get a decent map on Ohio Game Fishing. Just search there maps.

I have an old topo map from back in the mid 70's but i doubt if it's till made. The names everyone uses are on the map.
Southparks...tell us the ramp you use, someone can then have a starting point..

Yates, I normally put in at the ramp across from Boars Head, it's just the easiest for me to get to. I normally go up there some time in March as a little tune up before going to Weiss then Kentucky lake.
I saw that right after I responded. To Speckwick, We'll be at weiss the same week. I'm arriving on the 23rd Monday and leaving the following Sunday.
Where are you staying and what part of the lake are you planning to fish. I'll be at Pruetts and fishing mostly Cowan Creek or maybe just the other side of the bridge there. They should be shallow by then, so we should be able to beat the banks and docks and some other spots we've found over the past few years. Man it's good fishing down there! Only place I go and don't plan to use any minnows. Jigs only.......Yates would be proud.
