Just got home from up north
Sat: Was @ Nettle Lake had about 3 inchs of ice on it. We fished the north end in 8 foot to 10 foot. Got 18 crappies that where keepers, most on minnows & bobber. But got one 11 1/2 inchs long on a ice jig Yellow/ Black with waxworm, had to jig it alot with out a bobber. Sun: today moved down to Harrison Lake. We got on @ 1st light and fished south west side down from boat ramp in 4 to 6 foot of water. 1st fish came off minnow & bobber, but did not mark any more fish. Full moon did they feed most of the night? But moved out to 6 foot and marked fish, then found them,36 crappies most on jig & waxworm and then got 22 very nice Bluegills too. Had to keep eye on the Vaxliar, to see where fish was @. They move up & down alot in 6 to 4 foot zone.
