Don't know how far south you're going but it's 27* right now in the sw corner of the state and weather app shows Centre, Alabama is 26*.
I hope you find some warmth. I think I'm more tired of the cold than I am the high water.

I’m heading to Beaufort SC. Near a place called Hunting Island state park. Looks like it will be mid 70s when I get there Friday afternoon.Quote:

I’ve never stayed in Alabama but I’ve traveled through a couple times on my way to and from Biloxi Ms. I gotta say the best places to eat with the friendliest people on that road trip were in Alabama. I really like driving down 65 seems like everyone In the south knows how to keep it moving!Quote:

No but I had some buddies stationed at Kessler. It’s a great town if ya like to gamble casinos are Vegas style. Plus it’s only and hour and ten mins from New Orleans. I had a some good times down there!Quote:
