" I do know first hand it’s possible to to get in a boat on crutches."
I'm sure I figure something out, I have to. One of my grandkids reminds me I promised to take him fishing this spring. Operation is 1st week in May I hope I can get out before then. Lakes are crazy high and Ohio River is at flood stage so draw down will be slow again....one day.
Keep those pics coming.
Hold up boys! Old lady says she goin fishin! So we about to hammer some slabs! Stay tuned[emoji41]

Made it out to 5 different spots in the PLX chain today. Saw plenty of waterfowl and a couple Ospreys and of coarse the Loon was still around. Obviously it hasn't warmed up enough for him to head north yet. If I would've started in the last spot I hit the day probably would've been better. I finally hit GBB and started catching fish. Unfortunately no crappie showed up to play today, but the gills were pretty aggressive. They were pounding gulp minnows tipped with a wax worm. I gotta admit they were looking really good! Called it a day about 4:30 today. Attachment 297476Attachment 297477Attachment 297478Attachment 297479Attachment 297480Attachment 297481

"Come north we got plenty of fishable water"
Sure wish I could, got too many doctor appointments over the next few weeks for pre-op on the knee.
I'm hoping I can still squeeze in a little turkey hunting before the doc cuts on me. I HAD plans for going to Lake Cumberland at the end of this month but for now that is out. Depending on rehab I may still try for Ky Lake in May (probably just wishful thinking though).

BTW we got out for a little over an hour I’d say. Hit one spot with a certain structure made of wood on the shoreline.... anyway, one fish. She caught it[emoji58] a lot of bites but couldn’t hook them. Prob small perch
