Even if they are right with the water temps it’s gonna be very challenging.

You're roght there. Still better than sitting at home wondering what I might have caught. You know me, I'm happy just getting out.

Got out and did some wading today. The breeze was extra cold and the breaks of sunshine were much appreciated. Caught some ok gills and some small perch. Put whoppins on Bigeyurk25 well I caught 2 more than him so I won our little competition [emoji41]. Didn’t use anything but 1/64 jig and gulp it was nice to make some casts and enjoy some banter with a good friend. All it all it was a good day!

Go over to the GBB. Wade out like we did before. Theres some decent size gills & redears right on the drop you literally don’t have to cast more than 10 ft. We were catching them on the gulp fishing 2-3ft deep . Just let the baby sit they will come for it! Good luck do it up![emoji123]

Well I finally made it out this afternoon around 3 o'clock. Hit the GBB as a starting place on the recommendation of bobberbucket. I also decided to do the bobberbucket plastic approach today to start. Well with the third cast the first fish was caught. Well I thought if I got one,why change. Bigeyurk25 hit me up with a phone call and asked where I was and then showed up about 30 minutes later. It was a great day to get out and spend some time appreciating nature. Got to see a Bald Eagle, countless ducks, and geese. Even got to see the Common Loon that's hanging out at the lake before it finishes heading north. It was a great day and had some great company.
