Fished Wednesday (8/30) and Thursday with no real luck calm water but still at 73-74 deg. Took wife on Wed,she read and I fished with only a few short strikes and thrs. took my daughter in-laws dad and he was able to hook a little blue gill. Tried most of my spots with no avail and talked to a few and they to were striking out as well. Will try again next week at Indian and will make a point of going to Brown and try my luck both places. Good luck to all and we do need rain as Indians level is dropping.

Went out for a little while with the wife on Thursday (9/28) to Indian and fished from about noon to three with no luck but didn't push it as the wife wanted to cruse n read. Water is still in the low to mid 70's ( and down 6-9in as well) and looks to cool down the next week but as the crops are getting ready I've started in the fields so fishing will be on the back burner unless it rains a little. See you on the water !!!!!!
