tips for cowan lake or cc

going to be heading to either cowan or cc tomorrow. Been to cowan once last year and got skunked. never been to cc. Got a 13 foot lund with a 10hp and a humminbird with di. which lake do you gys think is better right now, and tips for that lake are apreciated thanks.

Last year we went to Cowan the Wednesday before thanksgiving, for the first time. It took us a five hours but found a honey hole. Then For an hour my brother and I caught 15 keepers and a lot of dinks. Now Cowan is our holiday, day trip, fishing spot. Pm me and I will give u somewhat of the area. Never been to CC.
