Makes me long for a big pile of cement blocks and light steel cables and clamps, even if to simply set them on the ice...old habits die hard ! Too bad have been working 7 days a week for the last month...

Yep Jeff, I'll take what you can spare!
I splashed some from a buddy that gave me some tops during the summer, but he kept the good burning stuff!:)
Am PROUD of you Sir Intimidator!
Old habits are hard to die! :)
Listen, I had a hard time seeing, couldn't drive, hard to fish, in pain all the time...needed something to do....ran out of stuff to do at the house by May....working, made my eye feel bearable!
I made trees sprout, had 2 other woodsmen of water!
Really liked Zero-Dark-Thirty movies!:)
Only The Shadow Knows!
DO feel free to drag me in on your "Splash-a thon"...you do have my number !
Fished my 4 off days and ended up haven some fun vertical jiggen, 75 last 2 days water was 38-42 and i did switch and started goen out around noon and fishen till 4 or so and it seemed to help alot!
I hit the dam at dusk last night and almost got skunked. Caught one dink and missed a couple of other bites
I thought I taught you better than that...now they feed in the day...it gets cold at night and they suspend, deep water is the warmest...shallows cool down too fast now...get out there like Impdog!lol:)
Plus you have to move it slowly....either bobber, drop shot, or vertical jigging...if it warms into the 40's they will hit a slow retrieve, but make it look easy by twitching, stop and start, or lift off the bottom and let settle back!
Hey, I have to fish when I can, and that is often NOT when the fish want to be caught. I had planned to be there in the afternoon, but I was informed I needed to go see my niece's son's hockey game.
Besides, it's been almost 4 weeks without any fishing and I had to get close to some water!
