Water temp really dropped this week, it was mid 60's last Friday. Nope they aren't all dead, everything I caught last week was still pretty deep.

I've been thinking the same thing since they put the size limit on, the fish have to get bigger. Unfortunately it seems like 80% of the fish are still 9". Personally, I was glad some of the crappie died, hopefully lower numbers will lead to bigger size.

Honestly that is one thing about Waynoka... Lots of 9" fish for Some reason and the cycle seems to
Keep them that big.. I'm not big on cleaning 9" skinny fish but Waynoka is plumb full of them so I eat them when I gets taste for fish which is rare..... As far as the fish kill goes ya think that matters in ef? Sooooooooo much bait in ef I have a hard time thinking the place would have trouble keeping crappie fed
