I read on another forum that earlier this week, they were catching them on shad colored plastics, close to the bottom in 20-30fow, Ive heard from a good source a Junebug colored grub on orange fourescent jigs work well too, I Myself havent had much luck there the 3 times I went this year, but I did miss the spawn! Id find out what launching rams are accessable before You go also. Let U know how You do.

Bite has been pretty good all fall.
Water temp today was 45/46 on the lower end. We never went to the upper end so I don't know what's it is up there. Water color is good and is back down to winter pool. My buddy fished minnows and I fished jigs and we did about equally well. We probably caught 40/50 fish and had 17 we kept.

We fished EFL yesterday. Did OK. Mostly fished minnows and slip bobbers. Best depth was 18-22 feet. Kept 5 for dinner.

You have got to be chitin me!!!??? I was there two days ago and went to the camp ground ramp and there was ice AS FAR AS I COULD SEE!!!! Two small openings out in the middle. I watched a boat back through the ice and head out towards the middle breaking through ice that I would figure to be atleast 1/2" thick or more. That's crazy that the lower end would be wide open like that. The entire river mouth was completely locked up.....

That 1/2" thick ice is hard on aluminum props. Don't ask me how I know.
