Got out early today, we caught 38 and only about 4 were keepers, minnows tightlined seemed to work the best 14 to 22 ft deep, did catch a few vertical jigging lake fork baby shad on 3/16 heads.

Iam thinking its 9.5 at most ohio lakes we don't keep very many fish to eat maybe 40 for the year.

9" at almost all Ohio lakes, except a few like Cowan where there are too many runts and there's no size limit. Fished CJ for the first time last year, about this time. Caught a ton of very nice 10-12" white crappie pre-fishing for a tournament. Had 100 fish days several times with most keepers. Different year I guess.
