Couldn't get there until after the 1st seminar but did get to meet/talk with Russ for a few minutes. Seems like a nice enough guy. Stocked up on more fishing gear that I don't really need but better than sitting in the house. Bought a 30# Minnkota trolling motor for a 12ft john boat that was given to a family member. Planning on spending an evening or 2 in that this year.
I made it to the 2:00 seminar with EFslabs. Russ gave a nice seminar on crank baits. We talked to Russ for a few minutes after it was over. I sure wish he still had his show on TV.
I listened to Russ at 2:00 seminar too, maybe next seminar We should wear name tags, I would of liked to say hey to you guys or at least put a name with a face. I had hoped that Russ would of talked more about spider rigging vs. throlling but its always good to learn more.
went to bass pro today and bought me a new reel. abu orra s10. so ready for warmer weather, not an ice fisherman i am fair weathered lol! thinking about buying a new humminbird 581hd di fish depth finder. any thoughts on this item? i know if i wait til 3-12 i can get triple rewards, free installation, and the gear guard 3yr protection on this product.
