You two are giving me an urge to drive West. I went in the river East of Maysville last Friday looking for some sauger/hybrids with no luck. Caught a handfull of small bass & crappie, nothing big enough to keep. No sauger or hybrids where I was at. Not yet anyhow.

My dad and I have fished EF 3 times earlier this month. We found them consistently around structure that was on the bottom off the long rock wall ( to the left of the giant tower). We were using 2 minnows with Mr. Crappie's setup that has 2 hooks and a built-in sinker (which work great). Caught some keepers but most were around 8" so the size was not great but they were plentiful. We ran out of minnows each time. I wanted to get back out but I think the weather gets colder after this week. I have never fished past late November in years past but I'm going to try this year to fish through winter. I'm thinking we'll have to put in by the dam and fish the deep water there but I'm not sure.
