been doing no good over at Tanners when i went twice last week ... i'll give hogans a try middle of next week ... i'll have to find a place to put in ....any advice for ramps is appreciated!

The ramp I use for Hogan is behind the Shell on rt50. The entrance to the ramp is actually on rt350 just behind the Shell. It's a private ramp and the rate is $3. Not a bad little ramp and in a good spot I think. Good luck to ya.

The ramp you refer to behind the Shell opens up into a big bay with docks according to Google maps. If there is any water depth in there it sure looks like it would hold crappie. I fish similar areas up river in the Meldahl pool but most of our big bays or backwaters have silted in badly over the years. Just curious if the same problem exist downriver. I've never fished anything in the river West of Cincinnati, but hope to some day.
kycreekboy...There is a lot more water depth it those creeks than what you have upstream
& thus better fishing.
that ramp is near the river... with some deep water near... with only 6 to 8 fow up stream...
