You got all that in a 10'- jon boat? That's got to look like a cartoon going down the lake.

youve never been fishing until youve tried swinging a fish into a 12' boat with a 14' rod...kind of a "square hole-round peg" deal. Basicly, its a one-man chinese fire drill.
    Good times

Back in my younger days we used to fish 3 people in my 12' jon boat, plus all our bassin gear and Outboard/ TM/ Flasher and of course we all had to have at least 3 Fenwick Lunker Stix, tackle boxes. We'd spend all day in that boat and catch 2 or 3 fish and just couldn't wait to get back out. I know we looked like a cartoon. I loved every miserable minute of it.

I took Mike out in my 12' one night to bass fish, and i still have the grey hairs from it(we were a tiny bit over-loaded)

I've caught more big fish, and i mean all species, in a 12' jon boat than i ever have in any bass boat...
but yeah, you do look kinda funny doing it. Best time was the night i took my I-pod out froggin, and came up on some guys catfishing. I had the speakers blaring bluegrass, and me in ratty overalls, no shirt and a cowboy hat and a 12' frog gig...
the fellers hauled out like they seen a ghost, or that movie with Burt Reynolds and Ned Beatty...

I actually just sold mine last year. I gave one of the guys at work a great deal on the boat, motor and trailer but I get to borrow it anytime I want to. My son used to use it but he hasn't touched it in 6 or 8 years. I have a bunch of fond memeories from those years.
