Indian Lake 3-16-12

Bite was on today. Water temp was 60 back in the game reserve area. Was out from 9 to 12 and got 14 keepers on a chartreuse split tail. Im sure i could of got many more if i had more time. Been hearing some people gettting limits on them.

Been catching blacks now but the lake is has both.

Fished Saturday from 9:00 til 1:00. Brought home 14 keepers 10" and up. Four were 12" and lost a few good ones. Lots and lots of small fish!!!! Water temp was 59 degrees where I was. Caught the better fish in boat lifts, the smaller fish are on wood.

Fshed Sunday from 3:00 pm til 7:00 pm. Water temp was 62 degrees! Caught 60 total but only managed 12 keepers. Got all my fish shooting docks Sunday.

Indian was due for a year of small fish and this seems to be the year.

Where was you fishing? I was out today from 8 to 12 only managed 8 keepers and 5 gills.

Havent gotten the boat ready yet but had to get some fishing time in. Fished for a few hours fromn the bank, alot of undersized fish but managed 7 nice ones the two biggest pigs were 1lb 4oz and 1lb 1oz
