is mine ready
No powder on these. I picked up a little water base jig paint kit @ BPS. I really didn't have much faith in it but that solvent based paint has pretty strong fumes. The water base surprised me. It worked okay and I probably painted 300 jigs with that little kit.
These really are a nice jig, I'm looking forward to getting them wet. That blade is perfect.
hey Herb, you got a pm
All PM's answered. Ron, I PM'd you a few days ago, yeah they've been ready, but I will call you 2morrow. Delivery is running about 7-10 days.
Thanks again.

Thank You for the compliments. I guess that's what happens when somebody really enjoys his hobby.
Max, THANK YOU for the gift.
FYI, John sent me a CS paint kit to try out that BPS sells. When I first opened it, I liked the solid base and noticed it was made by testers. There wasn't much instructions (zero) and if I didn't have some paint knowledge, I wouldn't of picked up that all jigs needed the white base coat first. I painted the base and hit it with the heat gun (impatient). Then added the color and was plesently surprised that it coved easily. Next, was a second jig and it got coated with a top coat of sally hansens. They have been drying all day and I will let you know the results.
For those who paint their own, how long does it take to brush paint 1/10 of a thousand jigs?
