Default crappie today and opinions on crappie fishing

18 keepers today 10 to 15 feet deep on red and white tube. i let you guess which lake. also i think trolling for crappie is just pathetic. you know if your going to fish, fish. but if your unable to cast because of a physical problem i can see it. also they shouldnt allow trolling in crappie tournaments. also why sit and whatch a bobber. come on work for the fish its healthy for you.

If you would have trolled minnows under a bobber & watched the bobber you would have limited out in 20 mins or so..........deadstick a 6in purple bass worm, limit in 10 mins

Ah guys - all those methods stink!

When nobody is looking - my boat converts into a working model of one the Ohio shock survey boats.

    Two minutes max!

Sounds like you've tried trollin for crappie and it didn't work out or you have had that rump busted by someone who was trolling. If you can't beat them join'em.

you have to be versatile in crappie fishing..trolling ,longlining, slip floating, jig and corkin or swimming jigs..i think it makes you a better angler if you can do all..as far as trolling goes you dont just throw your poles over the side and start catching em it takes alot of know how and precision boat control..most crappie tournaments are won by trollers.it is not my favorite way to fish but when the time comes for it i will..when the fish are 1 foot deep the best way to catch them is with a jiggin cork
