    Default Button Jig

I just picked up this (new to me) Button Jig Mold and thought some might like to see it. It looks similar to the Aspirin or Pill head. It comes like the pictures below or without any barb at all. Just a plain Button Head. It makes putting eyes on a breeze and I had to do paint up a few w/ quickie eyes. I might pick up some of the 3D to try. I also found a little history about this style. The head design of the Aspirin Head Jig was originally the brainchild of legendary Dale Hollow smallmouth angler Billy Westmoreland. The head is round, thin and mounted vertically on the hook shank. This creates an enticing wiggle as it falls, rises, or simply swims through the water.

    Nice looking jigs NP.
Hey, I tried one of those single strand weedless jigs the other day. I was at EF Sunday and I pitched that thing in all kinds of stuff and I never did get it hung up. I'd have to check it but I believe it had a #4 hook and I never lost a fish on it either. Nice jig. I'll post more as I play with them a little more. I was switching from the 1/32oz single stand and the 1/16 brush type. I didn't lose either but my trip was cut short with the storms.

Thanks for the feedback on these single strand weedless Max! I'm glad they are helping you fill your Lucky Bucket.

I've been working with another something that will be HOT when the bugs are worked out. When I get a little closer to getting them right, I'll send you some to try. Here is the first sneek preview. But keep it quiet for a while!!!

    Thumbs Up

Oh, and here are a few of the 1/32 and 1/16 with their coats tied on. I'm betting the Slabs will crush them when fished under a strike indicator...

I'm with you on the pony-heads, but I'm a little less supportive of the double charge for T-Bone! I want some of the pony-heads! I know, PROWLER should charge me double!:D

Apparently you can not sell the pony jigs with bling, so I guess no one will be buying them, round heads with bling are fine with me.
