Went to GLSM Saturday to spend time on the water before Memorial Day becomes unmemorial with pontoons......... No bites till we hit the channels. Main lake was a waste of 2.5 hours. Fished western most channels in Otterbein with a couple hits. Other guy was flipping a tube and jerked one way left into the middle of the channel. Had a solid hit and run for 15 feet but bait came back empty. Well it did have a scale on the hook. About the size of a dime, opaque silver. Anyone got an idea of what it might have been?

Went to our favorite crappie channel and caught 5 in about 20 minutes before heading back in. One was 10+ and a fat black with eggs. Other four were small 6-7" with 2 white and 2 black. Also hooked into a 10" bass while crappie jiggin. Was lifting him into the boat when he flopped off.

Used 1/16th jigs with powerbait twister tails and ribbon tails. 3 were caught with meat, 2 without.
