Trolling Motor Reverse stopped working

I'm on my 3rd trolling motor. Aggravating the low quality of stuff these days. Just bought Maxxum 70 hand model last year after going thru 2 Minn Kota 80 lb thrust. At any rate, the reverse stopped working Friday. I'm thinking the switch needs to be replaced. ???? I ordered on just to see but I really hate tinkering with them, but no reverse is not good how I like to fish. I jig fish.

Had the same type issue with the Minn Kota along with a cracked shaft. My luck with trolling motors suck. They aren't cheap!!!

They are built very cheaply these days. I have a hand held I hand jig with. I don’t ever use reverse, just turn the head around.

Yeah I did that yesterday. Not ideal. Especially for something less than a year old that cost $900 plus.
