One time, my doctor diagnosed me with pneumonia and I was admitted to the hospital.

There was this one nurse that just drove me crazy. Every time she came into my room, she would talk to me as if I was a little child. She would say, in a patronizing tone of voice, "And how are we doing this morning?" Or, "Are we ready for our bath?" Or, "Are we hungry?"

I had enough of this nurse. One day at breakfast, I took the apple juice off my tray and put it in my bedside stand. Later, I was given a sterile container for a urine sample. So, you know where the juice went.

The nurse came in later, picked up the urine sample container, looked at it and said, "My, my, my! It seems we are a little cloudy today."

So, I grabbed the container out of her hand, took off the top, drank it down and said, "Just for you, I'll run it through again. Maybe I can filter it better this time."

Well, she fainted ... I just smiled.
