On the subject of straps, I have a couple of buds that refuse to use tie down straps on their boat. Says "it's too heavy, ain't going nowhere". Well I've been behind him when he hit railroad tracks and that "heavy" boat came up off the boards about 4 to 6 inches then slammed back down causing the whole trailer to bounce. Course this is the same guy that won't wear a life jacket.
