Well, I’m not fishing the tourney at Butla. I decided to go on to Truman and pre fish for the CM National Championship next Friday and Saturday.
I did wait for the minnow man to show up at J&J #2. He got there about noon and the only size minnows he brought for all of the above mentioned stores was a HUGE #12 minnow. Good luck with that size bait. They can outrun a Crappie and your pole tips will be moving all day from the bait. Grenada minnows are a #8. These are 50% bigger than that. Minnows are graded by the weight of 1000 minnows. The #8’s weigh 8 pounds per 1000. The 12’s weigh 12 pounds per 1000. SMH
