Would have thought Mccurdy was pretty safe. Durn. That is terrible. Hope they catch em. Makes me not want to leave my truck at the ramp.
Bad and sad. I hate it. I've started leaving mine unlocked but I only have some cheap tools in my truck.
Sorry to hear this. Two things I simply cannot stand are a thief and a liar. I very often find that the two are one and the same. Local pawn shop will likely wind up with your tools. As previously mentioned, you can bet they didn't steal them to work with. I wish the law would allow you to deal with these people accordingly if you catch them. Unfortunately, you can get in much more trouble than the thief these days. Not a good deal at all.
There have been several incidents of vehicles being broken into and/or vandalized at McCurdy, Wallace Creek and Bean Creek ramps lately.
Hang them

This kind of news really burns me up, unfortunately we live in an ever growing population of thieves, lowlifes and swindlers. I had all my camping gear stole at Sardis last year, sometimes I often tell folks I know, it's better off that I didn't catch them in the act....
I wish you had caught him. Would pay good money to see the look on the jerks face with your big arse coming at him.

That sucks! Guess the tough fishing can be blamed... less traffic at the ramps, less eyes for the low life thief to be worried about.
