All may have been addressed before, but here goes:

#1) Sunday I got the bright (no pun intended) idea to take a glow stick that goes on the end of a fishing rod for night fishing and stick it into a glow jig...don't knock it until you try it because it worked something serious and the fish KILLED it! Patent pending

#2) I use duosnaps on every drop line, on every leader, and at the end of my line- pretty much everywhere- so I can change stuff accordingly and quickly to match what they want. I always wind up with crap scattered across the floor and I like fishing barefoot. I have always used foam to stick my hooks into (when I still do have foam zap strapped around the vertical part if my rod holders, but what if a green tickler (spinner) is working better than an orange one? I can't hook a spinner into the foam. Harbor Freight to the rescue: I use their magnetic wall mount magnets to hold my knives. Said magnets cost $5 or so a piece and are very strong. I used some adjustable cable/hose clamps to hold the magnet onto the "T" part of my rod holders, and voila, any terminal tackle that is ferrous metal (and most are) will stay in place in the worst of winds and going 70 MPH. I do remove my 1/4 oz road runner heads before trailering and stick them into the foam pipe insulation on the vertical rod. Just an idea if you're looking for a similar solution! Patent pending

#3) I have found the holy grail of baitwell aerators. It's quiet, it's rechargeable, it's solar powered, it has a battery indicator, a little LED work light that has come in handy, and it will charge your cell phone. I never have to buy another D battery again, and...again, IT'S QUIET. I hate listening to baitwell aerators running all day. So much so, that my main aerator that runs my baitwell cooler in the back is hidden away inside of a storage box with the 12 volt converter plugged into a Harbor Freight jump pack to muffle the noise. This not only muffles the noise, but it also keeps my from having to buy D batteries all the time. Im prejudice against batteries btw...

So now my small minnow bucket that I keep up front runs whisper quiet and on the sun's energy or a rechargeable 18650 internal battery of the sun's not out. My Academy Sports aerator runs off of the 12 volt supply of my jump pack with no batteries involved. I love my Academy aerator and they seem to be better quality for less than the other brands, but it will soon become a backup because I'm buying another one of these solar aerators as soon as I test it a little while longer on it's durability. But so far, I give it 2 thumbs up! https://www.amazon.com/RivenAn-Porta.../dp/B01FU4K8W0
