These high water levels will have me trying all sorts of new places this year for sure.
Water to low, can’t use ramps. Water’s too high, can’t use ramps. Y’all need to get it together up there! Hahaha
Seriously though, I’ll say a prayer for anyone in the potential flood zone. I hope it stays high enough to give em a good spawn but doesn’t put water in anyone’s house.

Crazy ain't it!!!!!
Gonna be a good spawn for sure and will put me fishing some places that I fished the first year I fished Grenada, 1983. Remember that year well and the old hwy 7 will be hot this year I bet, break out the waders!!!!
Arkabutla is up almost 2 feet higher then it was this time yesterday and it rained hard here pretty much all night. Pretty amazing that if it goes over the flood stage of 238.3 feet this will be the 3rd time since 2011. From 1943 - 1999 it only went over the emergency spillway 6 times in that 56 year span. I don't know about 2000 - 2010 if it ever reached 238.3 or better. I'm sure when it was first built and for the first 30 or 40 years the lake held quite a bit more water then it does now though. Either way bring it on, I love the high water, had and absolute blast in 2016.
Been out here 11 years and never seen it backed up like this, had over 4 inches in the last 12 hours.
At dark last night I had 1 3/4 in gauge. Just checked this morning and had 5 inches in it. All this runoff goes straight into head waters of the cold water. So this will take about a week to get to Butla. And still got more to come.
