Neat trick to pop that jig off when hung up for sure. I have used the Matrix mini shad as I won some here on crappie.com last year and they have worked good.

yeah, they're in slidel. Ive bass and speckle trout fished in that lower end of the pearl beautiful place but there's a lot of water down there. ya don't wanna try it without gps. honey island swamp is not a good place to spend the night.
