    Default Motorguide parts

Looking for a digital tour 109 brush card assembly. Says no longer available everywhere I have looked this morning. Believe the part number is mxe320122. My boat came with 2 of these trolling motors and the one on the boat is ok, not a minn Kota, but this one was suppose to have a magnet loose in the foot. They sent a whole new housing to previous owner and he never changed it. I got to piddling this morning out of boredom and took it apart and the brush that is attached to the card is wore slap out. Everything else looks good tho. Name: IMG_4702.jpg

Chances are you can just replace that brush with a generic one of the same dimensions. I've seen them at the hardware store or I'm sure you can find one online. The main thing is to measure it correctly, you'll probably need a caliper to do so as it is very likely to be metric. You should also change the other one as well because it appears that it just wore down so much that it got crooked in the slide and hung on the armature and then it broke. if that is the case it's most likely that the other side will do it too, in due time. Looks like the spring that puts pressure on it is missing too.

That brush is made into the card. The neg side can be done that way, but unfortunately not this one. Spring is on table

I entered "digital tour 109 brush card assembly" in search and let google find info. Double check part number. Some on ebay, may ask the sellers.

I find a lot of listings for a 320122 card, none have a MXE code. Double check.
Every site I entered MXE320122 shows not available, not out of stock.
