Someone who has done one should compile a list (steps) to put one on . I would be willing to help but have never cooked for that many . Would it not make more sense to have a team(that stayed together each spring) rather than one guy ? kind of like the c.c fishing . After establishing a team it would become a lot easier . I know KNIGHT SHADOW for example would be way more than I at his dutch oven cooking but I would be able to learn from him . To many times the folks that get involved are not appreciated . I will donate a 100.00 gift card to bass pro to whom ever takes on this endeavor. A donation bucket can be passed at the meal(the other 4 team members can split the donations ) and I bet we can cover the cost . I am willing to try any ways . We all want slab to donate t-shirts, Bait shops to give good minnow counts, Those who give /donate door prizes out of their pockets, then why do we have a problem adding ten dollars to the cost of that week ? Surely it is worth that to see old friends and share a little time together . I have and still do enjoy the site ,fishing some with those I met because of the site, And having an inside scoop on whats happening where . All that being said the absence of at least once a year gathering surely takes away from the enjoyment . It should be an honor to serve rather than a chore.
Great idea coach. Don Don and I did camps 4 years in a row. Then “G” took over heading them up for several years. I know Rees, Canebreaker and Armyman also took charge on some of them. I can tell you it’s a lot of work for one or two people. A team would make it easier for everyone. I have made many lifelong friends at these camps. I hope they keep going

The crankfest that Rees holds is once per year and i forget now he has done thi s 3 or maybe 4 years....anyway i went to all of them. It is a good camp everybody more or less on their own fishing and eating for the week or how ever long they stay.....one organized meal for the whole group and its aways good. During the other days folks in small groups have get to gethers and meals at the campground and cabins. Good times and good fellowship......John already has the date set for this yeat. Thanks John for doing this.
