Get a Gravely. From a guy who owns 9. Average 500 hours per unit per year and rarely have one go down. IMO they are the best on the market.

$1800 will get you a Walmart Murray 15 hp air cooled Briggs, but no umbrella for yo pretty hair.

Mowers like most things continue to improve . more power, better suspension , precise handling . I had a Scag for 14 years and went to x mark . No comparison from the new one but I bet the new scag would be hands down better than the 14 year ago version .Which engine has a lot to do with the x mark . the 27 hp Kawasaki is awesome .
