They might not or really probably not have one. But they should of had the chance. Their body of work at selection time surpassed bamas. As to if they wouldn't have been undefeated we don't really know. We do know bama didn't.

Easy to speculate. Goal was to have the top 4 teams in the championship. That doesn't necessarily equate to the best W-L record. On any given day, the top teams could probably all beat each other. I tend to think of how it would work out if they played each other 5 times. Fact Bama won last night over number 1 indicates they were deserving. Maybe UCF was but most of that has to do with Conference strength. I doubt UCF would go undefeated in the SEC but again speculation. At the end of the day EVERYONE has some biased opinion even if they say otherwise. No matter what happens someone will be left out and arguing they should have been selected. UCF didn't play a ranked opponent until the Memphis Game and took 2 OT to win. Giving up 55 points. They beat Auburn but barely. Great offense but rather weak defense. No easy task picking a top 4. No easy task picking a top 8 or top 10. Somebody's going to be left out.

Hope they expand to at least 6 teams , prefer 8 . That being said injury will alter one team over a month process and you never have a true Champion thus is how you had a declared champion to begin with .:dono
